Equipment set versus turnkey
This is the equipment scope only: vessels, piping, controls and CIP. Building work, utilities and installation are separate. It suits breweries that already have a building and a contractor on site.
Grist load and mash tun sizing
One tonne of grist at a 1:3 mash ratio needs about 4,000 L of mash tun working volume including headspace. Sizing the tun by wort volume alone is a common specification error at this size.
Typical Applications
- Breweries planning around a 1 batch — At 2-4 per day the brewhouse delivers roughly 5,000 hl of finished beer per year on a five-day week, which sets the cellar and packaging requirement downstream.
- Sites with 20-26 of available floor space — The 2 or 3 layout fits within 20-26 m2, and the vessel arrangement determines how much of that space must stay clear for cleaning access.
- Plants committed to electric heating — Electric 36-45 kW or steam 0.3 t/h is the practical choice here: it removes the boiler room below 2,000 L per batch, while larger sizes recover the cost of steam through faster ramp rates and tighter control.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the set include fermenters?
No. Fermenters, bright tanks and packaging are specified separately so the cellar can be sized to your distribution plan.
Can it be installed by a local contractor?
Yes, with supervision. Piping and electrical drawings are supplied, and commissioning is available as a separate service.
What is included with the 1 configuration?
The supply covers the 2 or 3 set, interconnecting sanitary piping, the control panel and CIP routing, with Electric 36-45 kW or steam 0.3 t/h as specified. Cellar tanks, packaging and building works are separate scope, so the plant can be sized to your own distribution plan rather than a fixed package.
