KIWL Labelling Machine

A labelling machine that holds label position within ±1 mm across a production run, because misaligned labels are the most visible defect a brewery ships.

Label position is a tolerance, not an art

Retail audits measure label position against the container seam. A machine that holds ±1 mm passes consistently; one that drifts fails intermittently, which is worse because it is unpredictable. Servo-driven label transfer is what holds the tolerance across a run.

Wrap-around versus cold glue versus self-adhesive

Wrap-around gives the best coverage and cost per label at high volume. Cold glue suits paper labels on returnable bottles where the label must wash off. Self-adhesive needs no glue but costs more per label and is harder to remove for returnables.

Changeover time decides mixed-SKU economics

Storing a recipe per SKU and using quick-release plate holders brings changeover under 30 minutes. On a line running five SKUs a week that is several hours of capacity recovered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it apply neck and back labels?

Yes, with additional stations. A three-station configuration handles body, neck and back.

Does it work with cans?

Yes with can tooling. Sleeve application is a separate module.

How is label position verified?

An optional camera checks position and presence on every container and rejects out-of-tolerance units.
